Incident: Laptop containing pensioners' personal information stolen from bureaucrat's home


CBC is reporting that a laptop containing personal information on more than a thousand pensioners was stolen from a bureaucrat's home in Gatineau, Quebec. The government has notified the 1600 affected individuals. It appears the laptop was not supposed to leave the building. The Privacy Commissioner is investigating.
