The Joint Brussels Office of the Law Societies of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland has published the April 2010 edition of its very useful EU financial services and company law reform update: see here (pdf). Amongst the recent developments noted in the update's "what's new" section is the following:Two draft reports relating to corporate governance and to remuneration of directors and executives have undergone further discussion in the European Parliament. A Communication from the Commission on the subject of corporate governance in the financial sector is to be published in May. A public consultation is also expected".
