The most significant financial regulatory changes for 80 years have moved closer. The Bill that will become the Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010 has passed its final hurdle in Senate, gaining a majority of votes cast. The Bill now awaits signing into law by the President.Correction (21 July 2010): the Act will, in fact, be known as the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
