Germany: corporate governance code - new edition published

France: sixth edition of the AFG recommendations on corporate governance

L'Association Française de la Gestion Financière (AFG, the French Asset Management Association) has published the sixth edition (2008) of its corporate governance recommendations. A version in English has been published on the website of the European Corporate Governance Institute - see here. The edition in French is, however, authoritative.

Baltic States: guidance on the governance of Government owned enterprises

The codes and principles directory maintained by the European Corporate Governance Institute has been updated to include a copy of the guidance on the governance of Government-owned enterprises published by the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance: see here (pdf).

Saudi Arabia: Corporate Governance Regulations

The codes directory maintained by the European Corporate Governance Institute has been updated to include a copy, in English, of the Corporate Governance Regulations for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, published by the Capital Market Authority: see here.

Brazil: fourth edition of IBGC governance code published

The Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance published the fourth edition of its Corporate Governance Code of Best Practice last year. A copy, in English, has recently been added to the codes directory maintained by the European Corporate Governance Institute: see here.

ECGI research newsletter: winter 2009

The latest edition of the ECGI research newsletter has been published: see here (pdf). The newsletter focuses on 'Government in Corporate Governance' and draws heavily on material from the recent Transatlantic Corporate Governance Dialogue Conference at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington DC (video recordings from the conference sessions are available here). 

Luxembourg: ALFI Code of Conduct for Luxembourg Investment Funds

The codes directory maintained by the European Corporate Governance Institute has been updated to include a copy of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry Code of Conduct for Luxembourg Investment Funds: see here. The code provides boards with a framework of high-level principles and best practice recommendations for the governance of Luxembourg investment funds.

Morocco: New Corporate Governance Code

The Moroccan National Commission on Corporate Governance has recently published a Code of Good Corporate Governance Practices. A copy in English has been posted on the ECGI website (the French language version is, however, authoritative).

Austria: Revised Corporate Governance Code

A revised version, in English, of the Austrian Code of Corporate Governance (2007) has been published on the ECGI website here.

Hungary: Corporate Governance Guidelines

An English version of the Budapest Stock Exchange's "Corporate Governance Guidelines" (2007) has been published on the ECGI website here.

Kazakhstan: Council of Issuers code on corporate governance

The codes directory maintained by the European Corporate Governance Institute has been updated to include a copy, in English, of the code on corporate governance published by the Council of Issuers of Kazakhstan: see here (pdf).

Serbia: the Belgrade Stock Exchange corporate governance code

The codes directory maintained by the European Corporate Governance Institute has been updated to include a copy, in English, of the Belgrade Stock Exchange corporate governance code: see here (pdf).

Georgia: corporate governance code for commercial banks

The codes directory maintained by the European Corporate Governance Institute has been updated to include a copy, in English, of the corporate governance code for commercial banks published by the Association of Banks of Georgia: see here (pdf).
